I would like to think that I spend a lot of time at home, however there are several times I can look back and remember we were on the go a lot. I have hand picked some items that are convenient, for eating out, shopping, snacking and more. The first one is the Toddler No Spill Snack Cup, we all know how hungry toddlers can be. Usually when they want something they want it now, on their time. This genius cup won’t spill, it is super easy for kids use and hold. The top is soft, always-gentle, and easy to reach-in lid, makes it easy for those little fingers to use.
My next on the go item is The Sit Seat Baby Travel Harness. With this sit folded up in its convenient carrying case, you can stick it in the trunk of your car, glove compartment, or even in your diaper bag or purse. There were many occasions that I got to a restaurant with my child and there were no high chairs left or even available. This Sit Seat Baby Travel Harness works great on chairs, and has a dual purpose as well, attaching your child to you while flying in an airplane. This is a great gift for those busy traveling parents!

When all of my children started eating foods, my husband and I decided to make food for them. Not only was baby food expensive, but you had glass jars that you had to get rid of. We decided that we would use our food processor to make our own baby food. We live in the country and are able to have a huge garden, all the veggies that we grew we would also can for baby food. It was easy to can and was really easy to do. Once we cooked and purred the food, I used ice cube trays to scoop the puree into and than froze them. Once all the food was frozen in the ice cube trays, I would pop them out and put them into a freezer bag.

I was a working mom when I had my first child, and when I returned to work I was not willing to stop giving my child the breast milk she was used to. I found that this Medela Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump On-The-Go Tote to be really easy to use. I was allowed to pump in a quiet secluded room where I was able to lock the door and pump without being interrupted. Here is a product description that was provided on the website, This Pump In Style Advanced daily-use breast pump from Medela is designed for moms who pump several times a day. It’s available in 3 bag styles: On-the-go Tote, Backpack and The Metro Bag. It includes: PersonalFit breast shields, PersonalFit breast shield connectors, valves and membranes, tubing, 5 oz. BPA-free breast milk bottles with lids, one wide-base nipple and travel cap, a removable cooler bag, a contoured ice pack, power cord and battery pack (8 AA batteries not included).
I was able to use this pump at work as well as any place that I went. I was able to also double pump when I was at work, getting done faster than if I were to pump one side at a time. If there was no plug in available to plug in the breast pump than I was able to use the battery back up. The bag was easy to take back and fourth to work without looking like a big breast pump, it just looked like a regular bag. This is easy and convenient to use. The best part was the bottle that I would pump into, just needed a nipple attached for easy feeding. When we were in the hospital we were able to purchase this right through the hospital and was covered on our insurance. Check with your insurance company to see if yours will be covered. This breast pump is also available at Target if your insurance company doesn’t cover it.
