The Miracle Blanket

Have you ever purchased something that had a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back and actually needed to take it back? Me either… I can swear by these Miracle blankets, my kids loved them and stayed so calm when they were all wrapped up. I can remember back when my brother was just a baby 21 years ago and we had to wrap him in a regular blanket really tight like this.

When my brother first came to us in foster care he had Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, he was very fussy and he was three months premature. I remember when the social worker handed him over to my dad, he was so tiny that he literally fit in the palm of my dads hand.  My brother was so small and suffered from bad colic, he was always fussy. He loved being wrapped tight like a little burrito {that is how we described it}.

Capture your babies first year with a 20×20 Photo Collage Design

il_570xN.293174448I am searching the internet, as I do on a daily basis and found a great deal on a 20×20 photo collage design. Is your little one turning one soon? Check out this fun way to showcase your little nuggets first year. This is such a fun and unique way to have a year’s worth of photos all done up on one print. I would have loved to do this with my children, I guess it is never too late. My kids are only 9,7 & 4, I could always get together pictures and have them each done for the kids on their birthday’s.

Coleton and his Papa the day he was born.

We love to go through old photos in our house, as a matter of fact we just recently had pictures out of my seven year old Coleton. He is a slim seven year old but when we brought him home from the hospital he was over ten pounds and three weeks early!  The doctor jokingly said to me that I did not have a baby, I had a toddler! I laugh at that statement now because he is so slim and string beanie like today. Both of my boys came early because of their weight both leaving the hospital weighing ten pounds or more and both came three weeks early.

Coleton 8 months and 7 years old

Having big babies was a lot easier than I thought it would be, boy did they love to sleep. They didn”t need to eat as often as their sister who was a tiny baby weighing only 7lbs 10 oz, and ate like clock work she ate every two hours on the nose. The boys slept through the night by two weeks of age, and I was often told by other mothers and doctors to wake my boys up to to feed them every three hours throughout the night. I did not listen and my boys are healthy happy kids. I figured if they were hungry they would wake up to eat.

Coleton and his uncle Mike, he loves the water!

I was and still am an obsessive photographer. I take pictures of my kids daily, I never like to miss a moment! I carry my Canon  EOS Rebel around with me any where I go, I take nature shots, wildlife as well as tons of pictures of my kids. Do you carry a camera? How many pictures do you take? Back to the  photo collage, I have enough picture I think to order one for every year of their life and still have extra pictures.
