Fun Baby Socks

21564_meds 30329_meds 30330_medsOk, since my last post with the Johnny’s Socks, I have found more socks that I just had to share. When I had my kids I was often gifted shoes that served as no purpose, other than a waste of money. I loved a good pair of fun socks however, socks are a useful gift that is good all year around.  I found some fun baby girl and boy socks that are Baby Shower worthy.

Each pair is unique, I bought the Infant Cowboy socks for my god son who is from a farming family. His mom loves them and they go perfectly with his John Deere Outfit and baby cowboy hat.

Fun Uncommon Baby Gifts

I found a couple of fun uncommon baby gifts that are sure to be a hit. Check out these baby fortune cookie booties, they are absolutely adorable. Now that your new bundle of joy is here, take a look inside this fortune cookie, the fortunes read  “From small beginnings come great things” on one bootie and “An amazing adventure awaits you” on the other. If you are headed to a baby shower soon, these would make a great gift!

Lets face it dressing up babies is fun, but not always do they get dressed in things that are practical. Take shoes for instance, there is no need for them, they can’t walk, and they make their feet sweaty and hot. I love the idea of these Johnny’s Infant Socks. They have the look  of tennis shoes, without the bulk! I just bought these a couple weeks ago for a baby shower that I have to go to next week. I am sure that they will be a big hit!

I may not have any more babies in the house but I still have a four year old. I may not carry diapers, plugs, burp cloths, but I still carry a package of baby wipes. We all know that a four year old can still be messy. {See picture below of my four year old coloring his face with paint, when he should have been painting on his paper!} There is plenty of room in this bag for diapers and wipes and you still look great! With Mother’s Day around the corner, treat yourself to a new bag and celebrate!

Do you do a lot of traveling? Check out these neat gadgets for traveling with kids!

I would like to think that I spend a lot of time at home, however there are several times I can look back and remember we were on the go a lot. I have hand picked some items that are convenient, for eating out, shopping, snacking and more. The first one is the Toddler No Spill Snack Cup, we all know how hungry toddlers can be. Usually when they want something they want it now, on their time.  This genius cup won’t spill, it is super easy for kids use and hold. The top is soft, always-gentle, and easy to reach-in lid, makes it easy for those little fingers to use.

My next on the go item is The Sit Seat Baby Travel Harness. With this sit folded up in its convenient carrying case, you can stick it in the trunk of your car, glove compartment, or even in your diaper bag or purse. There were many occasions that I got to a restaurant with my child and there were no high chairs left or even available. This Sit Seat Baby Travel Harness works great on chairs, and has a dual purpose as well, attaching your child to you while flying in an airplane. This is a great gift for those busy traveling parents!

Munchkin Backseat Organizer

I am constantly on the go, running kids to and from school, dance, and taekwondo classes. I try to stay organized even when I am on the run with a Munchkin Backseat Organizer, that way I can keep snacks, drinks and books off the ground. This organizer keeps all those things accessible and up off the floor of the car, plus when your child is old enough he or she can reach forward and get things all by themselves.

We have a muchkin backseat organizer on the backs of both seats, driver side and passenger, as well as one on the back of our captains chairs for my daughter who sits in the back.  I try to refill them weekly, since we do an after school snacks two days a week in the car when we are headed to classes. The pockets are a nice size and will hold just about anything that will fit in there.
